ok, where do you guys get yours? Was in academy sports today and they had NO .22 pellets and a very limited supply of .177.
Did pickup an interesting blister pack containing 500 crosman competition premium grade wadcutters, weight unknown(crosman how hard is it to include a weight on the packaging).
I have never been a fan of wadcutters, until fairly recently i have only been a rifle shooter and in my mind how can a pellet as flat as a brick not fly like a brick. i will be trying them in my pistol tomorrow and im sure i will be pleasantly surprised.
anyway getting of topic, i guess most people order there pellets online but the cost of shipping added to the ever increasing cost of pellets must be a burden.

I ordered pellets with my last gun from AGD. I also bought a four pack of wadcutters, pointed, pointed with ridge and dome at a Dick's Sporting goods for $9.99. I was in Walmart the other night and picked up Crosman premium dome hollow points in .177 and .22 for $7.99 and $8.99 for 500 ct. tins.

I quickly realized after getting back into airguns a few weeks ago that pellet quality is a major factor in accuracy. The one question I did have while in the store was the weight. There is no grain weight marked on the package.

I buy most pellets at Pyramyd Air. It is hard to beat the buy-three-get-one-free deal. Add in current coupons and you can save an additional 10% or so. I have two pellets I really like and was looking for the best deal on large quantities. After visiting several websites and running the numbers, PA still came out the cheapest.

If I want cheap and local, I will buy a tin or two at the local Walmart.

I've been trying to convince my wife that this would make a good gift for me...

... so far she has disagreed, but might be the ticket for you if you want to try a lot of different pellets.

That's a great variety of weights. I might have to figure out how to justify a box.

My wife said she wants a locket for our anniversary next month. Can't wait to see her reaction when I show her a pic of the CCS 2300KT she's going to buy me  :)

I stick with H&N pellets now, and really like the Barracudas in .22 caliber (21.14 grains) for squirrels and such.

pellet sampler pack sounds like the way to go  :)

On a previous purchase I compared cost between PA and Straight Shooters. With the 10% off code and the free 4th tin PA was cheaper. That was until I noticed the pellet count per tin was much less with PA. After regulating, SS was the better buy with shipping being almost the same.

Champion Shooters doesn't have a large selection but if you shoot RWS Hobby Wad cutters they sell a carton of 5000 at a discount. I have a carton and think it was a heck of a buy.

Wadcutters are great for punching a neat round hole in paper targets, and if your target range is short, say up to 15m good hunting pellet ( at 12 ftlbs ),all energy transfered to target & no exit hole, unlike some pointed pellets I have used,in one side of tree rats head & out through other & that exiting pellet could end up some place you dont want it.

ok was pretty impressed with the crosman wadcutters today. shot some pretty nice groups despite the nasty weather here. so i guess i have my non crosman paper puncher and short range rat gun taken care of,  now if i can just find a pellet the 2240 likes i will be in business.
