2240 Gun Grips, first attempt

I want to try to carve a set of grips out of Black Walnut.  Is there any videos or posts that could guide me along?

Not that I've ever found but then I did not do an exhaustive search on YouTube.

Pretty sure there is nothing on our forum about making grips for first timers.
