Does it say pumpmaster on the pistol as well?

On the pistol it says in very small letters:

Crosman Model 1322

At least yours says something, mine just reads crosman and .22 in really small letters. I was looking forward to praticing my lettering skills as was discussed in another post.

It's stamped. I attempted the white crayon last night and it didn't look too bad. I'm going to invest in the white permanent stuff from brownells.

Wow Mike, The package looks just like mine. I like the etching better.

After looking at the vintage 112 I just got, I'm not at all impressed with the quality of my new 1322. The barrel has a sloppy fit in the band. I'll bring something home from work to measure it but I'd guess its a few thousand of an inch, enough to throw off your shot at 33'. If there were better quality I guess we wouldn't have a need for mods
