P-rod, hands down. Even though I don't own one (yet). I can hunt, shoot targets in either pistol or carbine form. HPA or Co2.

On the someday list, right after a 1701P and M-rod (because we really don;t have to pick just one.....Thank God).

That was my first thought but its only good for about 48 shots and you would have to lug around the the baggage. The Trail XL only weighs about 10 or 11 pounds :-X but is only one item and shoots flat to 100 yards even my stock M-Rod cant do that but its a 22. If I had to pick up and go it would be The XL.

A 1377 or 1322 carbine. Alright, I'd go with the .22 for its knock down power even though I haven't built mine yet.  ;D

x2 on the P-rod. Versatile, accurate, quiet, multishot, and adjustable trigger are a some of the features that I find appealling.

I agree about the p-rod being a good gun, but annoying to have to pump/fill all the time.
It's the main reason I didn't buy one and decided to mod up my as2250. I'd rather have a buttload of shots available.
Also, good choice on the XL. Great gun all around, except for the times when you don't need all that power!

it only takes 3 seconds to fill a p-rod with scuba tank
just add a bottle then it will have many shots like your as2250

I would have to go with the 1322 carbine no Co2 needed good for hunting , target, accurate and reliable.

Might be a true statement but in many areas there are no places to fill a scuba tank so it is best if you do like me and just get your own compressor and then you are all set for filling all your HPA guns, and probably your friends' guns too.

Got both.  Bought my real compressor from North Shore COmpressor in Silver Bay, Minnesota.

3.5 Cubic feet per minute output
4700 PSI
3 HP electric motor
Rings on all stages
2300 RPM
23"L x 17.5"H x 15"W
Approximately 87 pounds

Cost about $3,000 plus shipping.
