Bought my first router. Not sure why it took me so long after all of the carpentry projects I've done. Has anyone mixed hobbies such as woodworking and pistols? Obviously we have machinist mixers  :)
Did this one last weekend.

Yup, the stand. The pistol will be another build  ;)

There are lots of projects for airguns you can do with wood.

  • Shooting bench and stool (Quickster knocked out a great one late last year)
    Shooting rest
Breech (Grant Stace successfully pulled this one off)
    Grips
    Forearms
    Stocks
    Shooting Sticks
    Veneering tubes
    Gun Stands
    Presentation Cases
    Pellet Traps
    Target Holder...

Very nice. I have a piece of wood rescued from the trash at work that has "pistol stand" written all over it. May end up being more utilitarian than yours though.

Quickster makes a very nice pistol stand. I was lucky enough to receive one of them. You guys should kick some ideas back and forth. Here is a pic of his, which was made for a 2240 so my 1377 looks a little cockeyed, but you can get the idea.

Nice stand, I like the area around the grips. I recessed mine about 1/4" to keep it in place but I like the raised sides. I was also thinking about using an on-line brass plate company to label the different stands for each gun such as "Crosman 1322" or "2240".  I want to make a rifle work stand today but ...... my wife is starting to think she needs to paste a crosman sign on herself to balance out my attention  ;)
