What is the easiest way to get a stripped breech screw out with a hand drill?

is this a trick question?
im guessing a drill bit close to the screw size
if you have a precision(eye glass)screwdriver set
try compressing the breech down and use a screw driver that will fit the screw tightly.its the only way i get the horrible stripped breech screw out

I have seen something called an easyout will it work?

never used one
i stripped a breech screw before and used an eye-glass screwdriver to remove it.found the size that fit in the stripped hole, pressed down hard and reversed it out.then i took a dremel and cut a slot in it worked great until i got some accustoms screws.too bad he shut his site down

Will a 1/8" screw extractor work on the breech screw?

A easy out will work fine but you will need a real small drill bit also if you can file down the head of the screw you can turn the screw into the tube instead of backing it out.

I've tried both methods.  For me, just drilling the head off the screw was the easiest.  The screw extractor I tried just would not bite on that tiny screw head.

I took it to a friend of mine and he got it out with a screw extractor in about 5 minutes.
