The screw in the bottom of the stock. It works great to tighten up the play in it.

The screw is a great solution but then some rolled tape or foam tape in the correct place works just as well and does so without needing you to mess with a drill.

I've never wanted something so useless in my life.

good idea
only have a problem with my early phase 2 grip frame only 1 little nub to go in the rail.i did see the 1399 stock changed when the phase 3 gripframe came out,it has 2 little nubs that go into the rail slot
the old 1399 had a shorter track probably because there was only

this is what i am talking about when i say nubs
the phase 2 1399 stock wont go on a phase 3 grip frame
and if you put a phase 3 1399 stock on a phase 2 grip frame there is extra wobble
the 1399stock i have on my p-rod is a tight fit no wobble barely enough room for the factory pad if there is any room
