I shot my 1377 carbine today and when it fired I felt air in my face,after that it started shooting far left or right. I finally went back to 10 yards to sight it in and it started grouping again. I am going to try back at around 20 yards tomorrow.How many times should I have to pump it to be accurate at that range.I am also using a ft piston and valve.

the air in your face can be more than one thing
did you make sure the bolt was locked down?
are all your screws tight?namely the breech screws?
what condition is the bolt o-ring in?
these are starter questions im sure someone else will chime in with other questions
accuracy
rested or freehand?
have you checked the crown?
is there crud in the barrel?i have read these barrels can have crud in them from the factory
if using a steel breech is the set screw(s)tight
is the barrel band screw tight?

I think I may have found the problem, the barrel was full of crud and in only around 300 shots.I cleaned the barrel thoroughly when I first assembled it.I have been shooting mostly Crosman pellets in it.

funny how that crud messes with accuracy
i have a .22lr assault pistol.now i have owned many of these nifty little guns and the accuracy was great at 25yds for what it is
this pistol im talking about was a new aquisition took it to the range great 50yd accuracywent through a few hundred rounds
the next time i took it out my groups looked like a shotgun pattern.went and got a boresnake and ran it through.the boresnake looked like it had solid lead on it on the whole brush.
took it out again to the 25yd range groups were back on target
with that said
i hope cleaning it solves the issue for you
be sure to check the crown too

can you check and see if the pellet is clipping the brake???
if it is clipping you should be able to see little nicks on it

I checked the muzzle brake and it looks fine,i hope it was the dirty barrel plus i also noticed on the rifle rest there is a little play in the 1399 stock.

How do you have the 1399 stock attached?
Do you have the little should stock pad installed?

try different pellets if you can --- jsbs,h+n,beemans just to name a few .barrels aren't all created equally so one might shoot one (or more) pellet better than the next

When I was ordering parts, to build "Nightmare", I asked them what it was and the price.
They told me it was $1.15 and called a shoulder stock pad. Made sense to me to install it.

The detent pin and spring keeps the stock lock to the frame.
The should stock pad stops up & down (rocking) movement.
The grips remove any and all left to right movement.

By adding these three parts the stock is rock solidly attached to the frame.

Of coarse there are alternatives for the should stock pad that might be lying around the house. Gorillia tape, non-splip grip liner, foam tape to name a few.
