Homade Pellet Trap

Got tired of Pellets ricocheting all over the yard.......
So,,,I built myself a Trap 
Works Great for my 1377 and should be fine when my 2300KT arrives.

Will build one myself in the next few days. Went to Home Depot and they had the "right stuff" -- GB Duct Seal -- for $1.97 per one-pound block.

Nice job on the trap.  I have a small one I made in the cellar for 5m shooting, but need one for outside to avoid having lead all over the yard. RC

What are you indoor trap makers using as a buffer to keep pellets from bouncing out. I plan to angle some tin to deflect them but always looking for a better idea. Right now a have a towel that absorbs the impact.

i use a box stuffed full of grocery bags works great!!

Cool trap. I'm gonna go down the clipboard route too. 



Do the pellets penetrate duct seal very far? I know it's huge question of power but say 12FPE   

I use a putty that seals the waste pipe from a toilet and pellets grind to a halt on impact and then stack up.

20-25mm thick slab at the thickest point which is overkill.

Just curious.
