You can get a pretty big bag of golf tees at Walmart pretty cheap and set a lot of those targets on them in the yard.  You can also put a row of holes in a board and elevate the board closer to shoulder height to set the tees in and put stuff on the tees.

Tarian Chalk targets..... gonna try some this weekend weather permitting. Trying to get my bro to record in slowmo.... trying!

The box contains 240 (approx) 24mm discs. You basically hang them on a wire and then watch them explode:

They do come in different sizes and colors.

Anyway I thought they'd be of interest. Makes a change to paper and knockdown targets.  8)

Gonna try some skanky old paintballs too if I can find them.  ???
