It's well worth the cost to use pellets of high quality that work well, and accurately, in your gun(s).  Too many flyers with crappy pellets make shooting more frustrating than enjoyable.  I'm a fan of RWS and H&N pellets, simply for their consistency. Cheap shooting = BBs. RC

crosman: right in the middle. not REALLY cheap but quality is pretty good for the price and especially the quantity. ZERO variety though it seems like. thank god theyre introducing new pellets soon. They will be making SO MUCH MONEY off of pellets. maybe theyll bring back some of their labor to the USA

$7.99/500 ct. tin (4th is free from PA) X 3 = $23.97
$23.97 + $7.99 S&H = $31.96
$31.96/2000 pellets (500/tin *4) = 0.1598 cents/pellet

Round that up to $0.016/pellet.

if you want the best jsb makes the best pellets out there right now and they have a 14.35gr pellet in .22 that would perfect in a stock crosman 22cal pistol or carbine

I follow... I'm just saying "$0.016 cents" is giving conflicting unit labels.  You're saying "0.016 dollars cents".

What is cheap? I find that many real 'cheap' pellets are awful. They are dirty, inaccurate, and often still have metal from the casting process still stuck to the casting/swaging marks.
