Is 3in1 oil ok for using in a 1377?
It is non detergent.
There is one with added ptfe, would that be ok to use too.
Has anyone tried it, if so did it do any damage?
it is ok that we protect animals rights,

I understand that additives in 3-In-1 oil is not good for seals. I suppose it is ok for mechanical linkages, but the oil is very thin so you would need to relubricate more often. A generally accepted, and inexpensive all-around lube for pivot points and such is something like a 30W non-detergent oil.

Thanks mate,
Will try that.
Was really the handy sized tin with the
nozzle, that i hoped it would be ok for.

3in 1 oil will kill your seals, tried it in a Crosman back in the 70s...
A little of it on a rag is good for wiping over gun to keep rust at bay through..

stay away from 3 in 1 oil, instead use pneumatic tool oil, I use Bostitch (stanley) in a neat one drop at a time white plastic bottle.  Been using it now over 2 years on 2 pistols with no ill effects. I get it at my local hardware store for $3.59 for 4oz's, its a thinner viscosity than pelgun oil, probably around 10wt, but after many modifications to both pistols, everything appears just fine, valves, seals, etc.
