6" barrel on a 2240???

This has probably been discussed before, but does anyone have a 6" barrel on a 2240, and if so, what velocities do you get?  I was thinking of trying it and having the barrel end at the end of the air tube.  Thought it might look neat.  I saw one on another forum, but I am thinking the air tube was shortened also.  I don't want to do that, just get a chopped barrel.  Thanks in advance for any information you might have.

On one of mine I have a 5.5" barrel.  Will get the numbers when I return home.

Thank you Carl.  How do you like shooting the short barrel?  Do you use open sights?

While working on my steel breech project, I decided to shorten the breech to end at the grip frame just ahead of the trigger guard.  The barrel was cut to about 5 7/8" to end at the front of the air tube.  I really like the look with the shorter barrel.  I checked velocity on the chronograph tonight.  Using JSB 15.89 gr pellets, I was getting about 396-398 fps with a fresh Co2 cart.  With the JSB 13.4 gr, the velocity was around 420 fps.  I posted these photos on my thread about the steel breech, but thought it would be OK to post them here too.
