1700p muzzle brake

is there any difference between these and the custom shop brakes?
i guess what im asking is does the 1700p have a 7/16 barrel

Hmmm.......I'm not sure. I would have said yes until you asked, but I'm thinking it is a LW barrel and a bit larger in diameter.

My 2240 OD is .435 as is my 2300 with the LW barrel ...

EDIT : My 2400 with the 14.5 barrel is .344 - no wonder why I had trouble getting the TKO off ....

because i cant order a "custom shop guns only" brake i went ahead and ordered one, im sure i can make it fit one way or another.
the young lady on the phone was very nice even after i played the Confused/dumb  Australian card and made her explain 3 times why i could not buy the ccs brake.

update.....
received my 1700-023 black anodized muzzle brake from crosman.
first thing i noticed is that the grub screw goes in from the top instead of the bottom and there is a slightly bigger "groove" cut into the bottom of the brake to clear the air tube. other than that it fits perfect.

I have a 1701p muzzle brake on both my 2300s and my son's 2300kt. Fits great.
