i could'nt stand the cheek weld on the factory Crosman 1399 stock. so i tried to attach an AR15 cheek riser i had, and it was way too high. so i could'nt help but chop up my new style 760 stock and steal the cheek rest from it. it fit perfect after a little sweet talking  ;) and i think it looks factory. what do you guys think  ???

I think it looks great.  Can you show us how you have it mounted?
Thanks,

its hard to get under it to take a pic, but all i did was mount a piece of 1/2 inch aluminum pipe to the top of the stock and attached the riser to that.

Good solution to the cheek weld problem. Is the length of pull of the stock comfortable for you?

it is for me but i'm 6'4" with very long arms. its wierd that crosman made that stock with such a long LOP. but luckily it works out for me. now if i could just find a cieling fan that did'nt clip the top of my head  :P
