Is a break-in period of benefit for Co2 guns, from an accuracy standpoint?  I know at times for springers, a couple tins of pellets through the gun sometimes helps quite a bit.  Of course in spring guns, there are the seals, pistons, lubes and many other mechanicals that will smooth up and allow a better shot cycle.  I wasn't sure if I should expect any improvement after a few hundred rounds down the barrel for the C02 powered guns.   I'm not talking about trigger work and smoother bolts, etc., just better accuracy from a given barrel with everything else being the same.  ???

Looking forward to your comments. :)

from crosman, a barrel cleaning is a good idea as most have some pretty nasty stuff in them .depending on the gun ,barrels are a hit or miss in the accuracy department .any cleaned barrel should have a few pellets shot thru it to season the barrel and accuracy should come with that .key word is should
TOO many freaks and NOT enough circuses

I like to keep a new gun charged up over night one i shoot a Co2 or 2. And like eric said always clean the barrel it sure can't hurt.

Thank you Eric and Crosshairs.  I will follow your advice.  Just wasn't sure as most of my experience has been with spring guns.  Of course, the barrel cleaning applied there, also.
