What kind of sights do you guys prefer to put on your carbines? I want my 1377 to stay light, and I think I will probably end up buying a Leapers 4x32 AO scope (not bug buster though) off of amazon but I want to hear your input first. My friend lent me a pistol scope during the last week and I had it mounted far enough forward on my steel breech that I could use it with the carbine stock, but I was uncomfortable moving my head so far back. I bought a Leapers 6x32Ao bugbuster scope a couple weeks ago and it shipped yesterday, but I found that the eye relief is too short to mount it with normal mounts on my 1377 carbine so I put it on my remington vantage.
Do you guys use scopes? Red dots? just plain open sights? I'd love to hear your opinions.

i use scopes and red dots
leapers have 3" eye relief leaving you close to the scope.i bought a no name 4x32ao scope dont think the ao is any good but no metter as long as the scope adjusts.it has good eye relief a lot better than the leapers. i have a center point 3x9-32 illuminated on my 2289g im going to take it off because its heavy and replace it with the 4x32 which is lighter.
on my 1377 carbine im going with the red dot because of the weight and i can shoot it with both eyes open.
the only gun i ever liked the open sights on was my marlin60 powder burner
i rarely shoot past 30 yards with my airguns dont realy need a scope with too much power 4X32 works fine for me

I like a 4x.  I shoot a daisy 880 at 100 yards with a crosman 4x15. I want a 3-9x32 on my 1322.

my daisy 880 is another gun i use open sights only

yeah. I like my 880s sights. Can shoot the sights at 100 yards too!

imo the 880 is one of the best backyard pest guns
no need for scopes or expensive pellets and very accurate
my nephew cant use scopes for some odd reason so i gave him the 880
closed mouths dont get fed

Great gun. Except the wobbly stock. Flip Flop.

3x9x40 on my 1377 carbine. Works good. For pistols I've been liking my NcStars .25x pistol scopes.

Or... use 2 or 3 layers of 3M blue masking tape on the backstrap of the pistol grip frame and slowly squeeze the stock onto the frame until the mounting holes line up. Took all the wobble out of my 1377 and the 2300KT.  :-*

Filling the back with cardboard helps? How? the butt does not come into contact with the stock/receiver. Or does it ???

Really, my only "carbine" is the P-rod with its extendable stock and s*lenc*r - approx 24" in length. I like a 40mm scope at lower power to bring in lots of light and easy to aim. No more than approx 4 power...
