steel breech

This probably seems like a real dumb question to all you experienced shooters and modders out there, but do I need a .22 steel breech in order to fit a .22 barrel? I already have a .177 steel breech on my 1377 and it would be great if i could just interchange barrels without needing a new breech as well.

Barrel and bolt are all you need to change caliber on the modern 13xx/22xx frames.

Crosman website, go to "manuals and parts diagrams" page, go to 2240 pistol pdf, get part number from diagram.
