playin' with my chrony

I played around with my new Beta Chrony (fathers day gift) this weekend. Interesting results; my 2300s with a 1701P trigger and JB welded hammer shoots 490 fps (a little slow), My son's 2300KT with a 1701P trigger and hammer shoots 575 fps (not bad), and my Skanaker kicks it with 625 fps, and its not turned up all the way.

I'm a little surprised by the difference between the 2300s and the 2300KT.

if i am it sounds like the jbweld hammer has some drag to it

You are on track and that's what I was thinking.  Maybe I'll dig into it tonight.

its been said time and time without the 1701p/p-rod/challenger hammer drag will occur
what is the significant difference between the jb weld hammer and the 1701p hammers?
can someone post some pics of the the modded vs 1701p hammers at different angles?

I thought the 2300s had a reduced valve to up the shot count ... ??

According to the EVPs; both the 2300S and 2300T models have spacers in the valve.  The 2300KT does not.
