How many of you own a 2012- 1322 with the etching i have two friends they both have a stamped tube both of mine are etched. Anyone no why crosman did this and do they still make them with the etching. I still can't load a pic but when all is fixed i will post one i would PM Bert but im sure he knows and he must be pretty busy with the new updated forum.

The 1322 I just sold was laser etched... it was bought in January 2012.

If they switched to a stamped tube, I'm a bit disappointed.  I preferred the laser etched.

Bought mine somewhere around Feb 2012 and it's stamped.

eric

bet it was the first product runs that were etched so they could push them out the door
TOO many freaks and NOT enough circuses

And probably a much-sought-after item too.

i ordered an airtube expecting a "new" etched one.  Instead  the air tube that came was stamped "Medalist"
which is OK but I was planning on polishing the etched tube for an absolutely clean shiny bit.

Just a thought ... perhaps ... the custom shop is really working on ideas for the 1377...

maybe it's parts floating around ???  ??? ???

The one I got looked like it had been sitting around awhile and it said
Model 1322 under the medalist stamp. I had to rub it down with quite a bit of oil to get the brownish gunk off of it.

By the way. On Crosman's website in the parts manual section,
It is listed 1322C with the date of manufacturing 2011 -

Then there is
1322 with date of manufacturing of 2012- and there is no parts diagram.

Interesting, there must be two new models of the 1322.
