Hi Davio  ;D

I have every Dremel bit ever made and quite a few "no name" bits.  I'd have to say my most used would be the two sizes of sanding bands in course and fine grits.  I'm still undecided about their new "quick detach" system.

I just got the quick detach EZ-lock heavy duty cutoff wheels, but have not used them yet.  Soon...  8)

Let me know how it works with the cutoff wheels... like if there's any wobble.

I have only tried the EZ-lock with the 511E-01 Finishing Abrasive Buffs and really like them.

The rubber wheels are used for light deburring, smoothing, cleaning and polishing prior to using felt wheels. An example would be to remove machine marks on a bolt handle.

I'll have a barrel to cut in a few days, so I'll let you know how they do.  Thanks for saying the Buffs are good (I was wondering).  :)

I'd planned on getting some primer on the frame today but it's raining, thundering and dark outside so it's a no go  :(

This is the color I have chosen, it's an Italian Red, circa 1970's Ferrari color.  The base will be white so a little more vibrant than shown.

Long days and pleasant nights to you...

A pro painter friend told me that red works best with a dark base like black or gray. RC

Your friend is right. It takes extra coats of red unless the prime is gray (at least for sheet rock, trim and doors, etc.)

I'm by no means a pro painter, just an advanced model car (1/43 scale) builder.  I've built Ferrari's from the 1970's all the way to 2007. Each year there were slight changes in the hue, or shade of red. I've used white, cream, pink, silver, titanium, and titanium gold to get the color for a particular year and even down to a certain race.

Please excuse the lesson and getting off topic  :)

Here's the color I will get with the white base...

Ahhhh >:( edits for missing words and trying to get the picture in here!
