Suppose this is going to be one of those "obvious" questions, that or "If you have to ask you wouldn't understand" types! LOL! Actually I wish to keep up my participation on this site so figure this might be a good question to generate some discussion.

I notice that the Crosman 22XX (2240/2250) series pistol has quite a following here. What is it in your opinion that makes it special?

Discuss!

The 22xx platform seems to be the small block V-8 of the air gunning world. It is capable of from out of the box single digit fpe's to scores of fpe's just depending on what you want/can afford/can imagine that you want to do with it/them/all of them.  ;)

yeah, pretty much. it's like a car... you can buy it for cheap, invest lots of money into it making it how you like, and sell it for a huge loss

As i have said in other threads what i like most is puting your own twist to the guns you mod for me a big collector and i love to work with my hands just ask my wife  ;D but having a one of a kind gun that no one else has is just plane cool. Plus giving it more power and making and more accurate then it already is is a challenge.

Long days and pleasant nights to you...

BigErn

You forgot to mention the 13xx pistols! Can't forget those.

The above analogies are spot on. The 2240 is cheap, making it affordable to the masses. In stock configuration it is pretty accurate, fun to shoot and durable.

You can leave it like this...

Or make it into this!  :-*
