Converting 1377 to .22

Hi Everybody,
I just joined this forum and I have had a 1377 pistol for a couple years now that I just got back into shooting
and I want to mod it a little bit and convert it to .22 cal to be more effective for hunting.
My question: Is the 1377 and 1322 identical besides the bolt, breech and barrel?
In other words, could I just order a 1322 barrel and a 1322 steel breech and put them on my 1377?
Also another question: What would you guys recommend for a good red dot sight that is fairly cheap but works well?
I have heard the BSA 30mm is a good one. Is this true?

order a 2250,1322 or 2260 barrel
2240 steel breech comes with the .22 bolt

Welcome.

As long as you have the later version of the 1377 with the plastic breech, then all you need is a barrel and a bolt. Steel breech is always good to have.

Any of the red dots like you mentioned (i.e. Tasco, BSA, etc.) are fine sights and very affordable.

more people say the tasco has a clearer dont than the other rd30's

So then the steel breech meant for the 1322 will fit on the 1377?
And yes this was only bought about two years ago and it has a plastic breech.

The steel breech is bisexual; it goes either way. A steel breech kit for a 1377 & 1322 are identical except for the profile of the tip of the bolt.
