Crosman 2250XE Outdoorsman Carbine.  I need another keeper. 

It's a pretty nice package for the $ as long as the CenterPoint 3-9x32 Mil-Dot scope is worth a flip.

Nice one Davio.  I have a new tube for my 1377 on the way from Davio's eBay store. The one now has been taken apart one to many times as the threads for the breech screw are gone.

I hope it is as good a gun right out of the box as my 2400KT.  No reason I can think it wouldn't be.  Funny that these are not from the custom shop... and that the 2400KT no longer has the Outdoorsman stock option.  Nor is the Outdoorsman stock for sale all by itself anymore. 

They must have had a pile of 2250 tubes sitting around and the laser engraver girl is on vacation.

If they want more profit, they need to add that this gun does have a steel breech (since i see it and it better be on there)... and whether or not it has the sear spring adjuster on board.   Looking forward to this one.

Ya... this gun has a weird sales / availability pattern.

As late as June, PA had the gun stocks (on perpetual back order) and the CCS had them too, now, nada at either site.

My guess? This gun will go the way of the 2260 rifle within a year, if you want one get her now

They accepted the order and charged my credit card... it is not a ccs item, so it better be on its way soon.  I do not want to drive all the way up there to tap dance on somebody's head, you know?     

Are 26 oz. Estwing framing hammers allowed on flights?

They must monitor the CAPOF forum and the Estwing talk greased the rails for me! 

A little IMPORTANT info:  The Outdoorsman wood stocks are now made from beech wood (which I happen to know and guarantee is between balsa and cypress in the alphabetical list of wood from trees). 

It grows in Eastern North America. The wood is heavy, hard, tough and strong, and until the advent of power tools in the 20th century, lumbering beech trees were often left uncut to grow.

There is a chance that Crosman uses Fagus Grandifolia for one of several reasons: 
1) Boys in them parts think that name is really cool!  (It is an English name meaning Huge Cigarette.)  But them boys don't know that.

2) There is a large stand of it across the street from the Crosman plant and what the hell?!

3) Crosman knows that I ordered a 2250XE and they know that I dig the heck out of the heavy, hard, tough and strong part.  They know I am one of their biggest customers (6'2 and 275 pounds).

Whatever, I am glad it is coming!  Giddy I tell you!
