Funny, i hoped for the opposite when i moved.

Sweet marauder! Are you going to do any mods? On mine i run heavy hammer springs and bstaley mods, poly tube transfer ports, tuned of course, and airtube and shroud extensions. Yours looks pretty sweet without the extensions though.

Just have to I see how it is shooting first. I have a sneaky suspicion that I might not have to change much except the trigger pull. The guy it is coming from has probably done the testing and has it set right, but I can guarantee the trigger will be way to light for me! He likes 'em feather lite :)

Me too...i am pretty sure you can blow on mine and they will fire. The good thing about the marauder trigger and having it feather light (on both of mine) is the first stage is long enough that i wont have a misfire. New shooters on my marauders...it is almost a guarantee they will have a misfire, either while reloading or while positioning for a shot.

The Edge was right for me, trigger wise. I never touched the adjustment screws. My 1701p was set so light I could not hit anything. Within ten minutes I was adjusting it for a heavier pull. It ended up lighter than anything else I ever owned, but still manageable.
I think we are hijacking this thread! I will post more on it after I actually get it and shoot a few targets!

A few accessories for my 2400KT are in route and oddly enough, the best pricing was from Optics Planet. Next up is some type of Open Reflex Sight (leaning towards a Walther MRS). And hopefully the actual gun fairly soon as I am at 2 weeks and counting since placing the order.

1- Leapers Homeland Security 34in. Covert Gun Storage Case PVC-MC34B

1- Leapers Weaver/Picatinny Tactical Rail Adaptor for .22/Airgun Rifles - 100mm Long, 9 Slots MNT-PMTOWL
PC77
FX Verminator .22

Both of the above items showed up early and were stacked on the porch... but more importantly, the UPS shipping notice hit my inbox today from Crosman. So tomorrow I will have some "esplaining" to do as the 2400Kt, along with the P-rod will be delivered  :D

What comes first?  The air or the gun?  In my case... the air.  :)

Marauder due tomorrow afternoon, so I will visit the Dive Shop during the middle of the day tomorrow to get a 4500 psi fill.  Like Christmas morning I tell you!   :)

Did you call the dive shop to see how high they can fill?
In miami the highest fill pressure i could find from a dive shop was only 3700psi...had to go to a fire house for full fills, then eventually i just bought a shoebox compressor...

Really nice guy (Ron) at the dive shop says he normally fills to 3800 but only just because he has his equipment set up to max out at that point since they usually fill scuba gear.  He said after he personally sees my tank and the filling station, he will undo his safeguards and fill to 4500 for me (still $5 per fill). He just does not want his help going beyond 3800, but he is okay with it as long as he personally does it.  I can understand that totally.

That little ninja tank of mine will probably only fill to 3000 and then refill at 2000 back up to 3000 about 10 times or so, but that will be plenty for me (especially after the new wears off a little).  I still need to see if some firemen are game at some point, but you know I gotta have some air already in this thing when UPS drops off the Marauder tomorrow afternoon.  I admit to looking forward to this greatly.  I sure hope I don't get a lemon.  This is one of the first 200 off the line I am told.  The serialized first 100 from Crosman for $80 more did not appeal to me one little bit. Perfect timing at PA on the 10% off AND free shipping.

I will most definitely field report this gun. If it is as accurate as that 2260 I will be very happy.  It is a nail driver... more so than the 2250 XE (although it is not a dog at all).

Yours will be ok. This is a freak thing, I know, but I have to hate someone today and it might as well be the faceless FedEx guy  :D ;D  ill be over it by lunchtime.....$hit happens!

Now to start planning the repair so it doesn't look like a wood butcher got a hold of it. Hmm. Maybe some 100 mph camo duck tape will do the trick?  ;D

What a shame. I admire that you are still smiling Mr. Ark..If it were to happen to me I have no idea how I would react. Regards.
