I'll get some time with this one this weekend. It came with a 5 shot QC test target (shot at 5 meters) that has two, ragged holes touching each other!

The package includes the rear diopter sight, a gun sling and swivels, an assembly sticker from the guy who built it in Roger Arkansas and the QC test target I noted above. Gonna use Avanti precision BBs or RWS precision BBs in this one, none of those cheap-o BBs in this barrel. This is a compact, but adult size gun and looks waaaay better built than a Red Ryder type.

These 499/B models are da bomb for accuracy, I have seen the 4-H kids plow 5 shots in the same hole with these guns, emphasize "kids"... we'll see how this old man does with the open sights

Do ya got one of these?  I bought this about 35-40 years ago.  Pull the lever open...place cig tube on end...put your tobacco in the open door...push the lever the other way and it compresses and slides the load into the tube...viola...a perfect smoke.
