Disco valve and a Pro-Top from Anthony for my 2260.  But first I need to get my chrony out and see what kind of power I'm getting from my current set up.  I'm pretty sure I've got 1 of 2 Boss valves I purchased installed on it, but it's hard to remember which builds they ended up on.

The disco valve is a brand new part from Crosman but it looks pretty scuffed up so I wonder if it came off a gun that was returned.  If anyone else has ordered a disco valve, how did it look?  Just curious, doesn't matter enough to return it as long as it works when I install it.

My goal is to make my 2260 as hard-hitting as possible using standard 12g CO2 carts.

Sounds way cool, I intend on making my 2240 as hard-hitting as possible using standard 12g CO2 carts, partially by swapping up to a 2260 barrel and main tube.

Who is Anthony with the Pro-Top? Is there a thread that discusses what you are doing?

I ordered a Benjamin Maximus from Crosman on Friday... I got sucked in by a 20% off coupon code and free shipping over $150 on Friday's... While I was there I saw they had the steel breech kit for $35 so I threw one of those in. The Maximus comes with a Crosman rifle case and a tin of pellets and is normally $220, when I was done with the steel breech and gun with all they threw in I was at $204.

Being a pre order I imagine I won't see it for 2-3 weeks...

When you can get a savings like that it is hard to pass up a good deal.  Nice score...

Nothing in my truck....supposed to be two sets of wood grips as of today.  Unfortunately it looks like usps lost them.  It took 10 days for them to get from NC to Newark OH. Ugh.  Wondering how long the journey is from Newark to KC...

Sterling (airriflenut) sent me a late B-Day gift.  He was playing around and made me 2 strippers/muzzle brakes, some shims and had a replacement bolt handle in brass lying around.  What do all think?  Thanks, Sterling! 








Tinker may recognize the bolt handle.  You can see the cone on the longer stripper---for a .177 ,aka Maximus, that I will be getting and turning into a slug shooter.
