I got another 2260 from the USPS man today.   

But it will not be a 2260 for very long at all. I have some major plans for this one that include a Don Cothran valve, HPA, stainless tube, adjustable hammer, some port enlargement, either a smoothed out CCS trigger frame or possibly a 1701-P trigger group, dipped 1399 carbine stock and 2250 fore (red/black carbon fiber), nickel plated breech and barrel to go with the ss tube and caps, .22 caliber 24" barrel  and every other goody I can throw on it. 

The plan is to push it just up to the sound barrier... should put out around 80 fpe (just subsonic) with EunJin heavy pellets (32.4 grains).

I just talked with Don and it looks like this mission may start in January.  I will take pics and may even film the building of this gun from start to finish.

Yup, it is ingrained in me I think. Just a pity I have to go crazy all the time. Lesson learned though

Baz, not cheap but still cheaper than buying a standard one then changing my mind. (which I am still prone to doing)

Just need to remember everything in moderation.  I also learned long ago that it is too easy to go overboard and get yourself in trouble unless you have an endless supply of disposable cash.

You are right Mr. Q..I do order plenty of stuff from the US but I sell the bulk of it..They are also pre booked..Like that $650 Aimpoint I got for my 2400KT, it was a crazy move but I knew I would be able to sell it pronto w/c I did for $1,100, a few minutes after I have installed it on my Crosman..Sorry for the OT, gents.
