Good day for me  :)

Got a brass doofer adapter and an alloy doofer adapter on the way.

My big score though is I just did a deal on a FX Verminator in .22, I always wanted one and this was going for the right money. Will post pics on Tuesday when it arrives.

I seriously looked at that scope for my AA s200. When did the price drop!! That is a very good value at $129 for all the features packed into that 30mm tube.

I got a little scared ordering it. I was at Academy sports and they have about 30 scopes mounted on stocks to try out. There was a BSA 6x24 with the front bell AO and the optics were very cloudy, so I just wasn't sure if I was going to pull the trigger on this one. But, the guy that emailed me was so confident in this one from Midway, that I figured at worst, I would send it back if it was not up to par...so far the optics are nothing like the one in Academy. Nice and bright and it doesn't really start to get fuzzy until about 20x and that really isn't fuzzy, it is more that me moving at such a high power makes it hard to handle offhand. It is better than the Leapers 6x24 that I tried on a AA510 at the North Florida Shoot out or I should say just as good. In fact a bit brighter if memory serves me, but that might be an unfair comparison as it was overcast that day.

All in all a good deal for the money. NOT Springer rated though, so only use on nPB's or PCP's!!

That's a sweet looking scope Rich good price too let us know what you think of it.I am going to need a scope for the 22 60
Yep, I took the Barska 2x7 off the 2260 and put it back on the 2250 Church gun where it really shines, moved the CP 3x9 from the M-rod to the 2260 and it seems to be a good matchup. It was musical scopes around here yesterday  ;D  I think a 6x24 would be a little over powered for the 2260. You just won't have the reach like you will on a higher powered rifle. Would look cool though!!

Note to self... don't go to any AG classifieds after having a few fermented beverages as my apprehensiveness about spending more on a custom wood stock than I spent on the gun quickly vanished. My Corcoran P-rod custom wood stock will be here on Wed. ;D

Nice score, once you have it in hand you will soon forget the obscene price.

After just getting a set from Rick for the 2240 as well, I am sure that will be the case. Now, what to tell the wife :-X

Ya... they are nice (and oft overlooked) guns, much like the model 262 co2 and model 1 pumper (aka 2800) and Town & Country rifles.

I have been on a collecting binge lately with the older Crosmans, growing tired of buyng new "black-plastic" guns with no personality.

Here's another I  :-\  :-*
