These guns were from an owner in Arizona where it's dry and hot, the bores on all three looked like they were made last week. Only cleaned and lubed them and shot at 15 meters so far, they all print one or two holes in the 10 ring (3 shots). We'll see if seals and o-rings hold up. Easy to replace if needed. The 700's are a little quirky in design, the co2 cart goes in the back and the pellets load through that round knob on the side.

$235 for the lot is $78 each    Still, it's crazy when you think about the original prices on these guns, all three would have been less than $100 new in 1971!

The 1400 is surprisingly smooth and reasonably light for a self-cocking valve type (but so is my model 140). About 2 lbs pull with a digital fish-scale.

The 700's are going to need a little help (polish and lube I think) but they are fairly smooth.

Both models were made back when Crosman still used the investment cast parts in the triggers and polished/hardened pins. Go figure, quality parts made for quality triggers?!

Lucky for me, I have a 6' x 6' corner "closet" that I re-worked a few years back with 1/8" sheet steel interior under the 3/8" drywall and it has a steel frame (not home depot steel, real steel flat bar) and a flat barsheet steel door with 4 deadbolts. 

I di put a nice raised panel veneer on the outside of the door to keep the wifey happy, all painted and textured walls, you would never know it's mostly steel until the burglar tries the old "fire axe" or dent puller routine on it
