I want to do a litttle hop up on my 1322 and have ordered a steel breech and Mellon  Air extended probe bolt. I was looking at the Flat piston and valve and wasn't sure if it would be  a worthwhile addition. I can't see me going  for  over  10 pumps very often. Is is of much value  otherwise? If the porting helps get a  little  more  velocity at the same  pump level I'm  good with that. Is there another  mod worth looking at?

FT piston and valve are (mostly) for big time pumpers, 10 pumps and upward.

They are somewhat easier to pump at lower pressure/pumps but, I have several pumpers that have the stock pistons and valve just because, they are target shooters not hunters and 25 meters is about the range they stretch out to in the b-yard.

IMO, not worth the hassle and $$ for an FT if you are a paper puncher or shorter distance shooter and not hunting with the gun. That is if your shot to shot consistency is where you want it to be.

if you want an extra up to 100fps at ten pumps then its worth it
6-7 pumps produce more velocity than 10 pumps stock
