Being somewhat inspired with the sight that burnt09 made last month I thought I would give it a try.

This can replace the plastic piece that comes on the 22XX guns or the 13XX guns.  Not sure where it will go right now but am leaning toward installing it on my 2240 test bed pistol.

It came out okay but like most parts I make I am already planning on a version 2 to clean up a few things and improve my workmanship.

NAG! NAG! NAG!  Geesh, what is wrong with this younger generation...  :P

Okay here is a picture I snapped the other day after I changed out his flat-top piston which had some trashed o-rings but was still shooting okay.  I also installed a new barrel band he had made because his .25 caliber barrel is 1/2" OD instead of 7/16" like Crosman barrels.  And while I was messing with the internals I replaced his pivot pin with a Mellon kit.

His .25 caliber is pretty slick now and hits really, really hard on 10 pumps.

Carl

More later on his 2540 which is an awesome hitting gun.

wow
he finally got a barrel band !!! it was a long time coming
keep up the good work

The hole for the 8-32 hold down screw is oversized and gives me enough lateral movement to adjust for windage.  Don't need too much and it provides just enough.

Carl

You can have more windage adjustment if you turn the sight over and use the peep side. I had to do this on my AIR17 and it worked perfectly  :-*

BigErn that is a great suggestion.   :-*  Hadn't thought about that.
