Nice job! :-*

I've had to do that to all my PA's too 'Chef, for exactly the same reason >:(

It's not my idea (just copying it :P), but I snip a small piece of weed wacker line and put it in the hole first, then the set screw. This way I don't mash the threads on my PA when I lock 'er down. You can even back off on the set screw just enough that you can still adjust the PA but it won't move on its own ;)

Good call on the whacker line. I tried that with a tiny piece of an acetal pin, but I could not get an 1/8" set screw to catch the threads so I bagged the idea. I will revisit it though.

You can get polymer tipped set screws from McMaster and other fastener outlets, they are the bees-knees :-*

I had to get a larger pellet box for my 25 caliber pellets... The small Cabelas box was OVER FLOWING!! (I keep one box for each caliber pellets)

I got one twice its size and I am good again as long as I don't get carried away buying more...  :o :o ;D :D :D  :-\ :-*

I just finally fixed my Daisy 722. When I received it did not hold air. You say, that's an easy fix, but it was not. I changed the o-rings, messed with the exhaust valve and it still leaked. Called Daisy and got the o-ring set and a new exhaust valve. The new valve has a round end and the old one was kinda cone shaped. Put the new o-rings in and the new valve and it still leaked, but not as bad. Then I got the idea of using lapping compound to lap the seat and the ball on the valve. Took the C clip off the valve, put lapping compound on the seat, put the valve in and took a 2" piece of 1/8" fuel line they use on RC airplanes, stuck it on the shaft of the exhaust valve. Stuck the tubing in my cordless drill and ran it for a little over a minute. Took it back apart, cleaned it up and put the C clip back on. Put the gun back together and it works! :) :) :)
We need to keep going and have fun doing it.

Well, as you know, these guns are not a high power gun, but it will bury a hobby pellet into my pine door. I'm happy with it now, it works. Now, try to find another one. You want it back? It's going to cost you.  ;) ;)

I found the thread I needed to be confident being more aggressive in getting the leade right on my 1322.  You know that feeling when you send the round down range and its like yep its there, its just right, you have it to the point  it is the best it can be. You feel it in your gut, even for a small job like this I love that feeling.

did the leade on 1377 also I pushed a few pellets thru before and after below is a before and shows how the ridge at the beginning of the rifling was peeling back a vane from the skirt.  The barrel is extremely tight as you can tell from the banding on the head.  fliers are still happening but not as wide (There where bigger vanes  but pics where blurry and  cam needs batteries)

I measured 10 before and after with my cheap plastic vernier calipers and befores where .178- .180 most .179 a better tool would show for shure  but it looks like the barrel is a true .177 cause that is what they measured after being pushed thru.

I cut down a bolt to size for using my new HPASport extended CO2 cap. It is not pretty, but works perfect.
