Got ya. I hate this "must have" impulse. It's like an addiction that I have been wanting to shake loose.
I just wanted something different to work on. Found one of the 1300 guns on ebay and the other on a gun auction sight. The 130 guns I found on Gunbroker. The same seller had both of them at a good price.
We need to keep going and have fun doing it.

Wow, what's the short answer on how you made it? Plastic? Completely original, or modded?

BerkshireHunter

Installed a fatty 2260? probe on the 1322. Also cleaned the barrel and put a bit of plumbers tape around the transfer port. It wasn't leaking before, and I really doubt any gas is escaping there now.

By far my most appreciated airgun.

IMO, the only thing you are missing is, another gun in your collection. You can't really do mods on the 130 or 1300 guns except a trigger job. It's like the phaze I and phaze II 1322 and 1377. You can mod them, but it will coast more to get to where you can mod. And then you still have a rear cocker. If you want them for your collection, get them. If you want to mod, then get the new ones with the cocking bolt. Now I'm looking for a 106 for the collection. It never ends. ;) ;) :) :)

Muddy,
There is no rear-knob in the 130 and 1300 like the phase I 1322. How are they cocked? Do you pull the loading gate backward to cock it?

mudduck48

It's what they call "self cocking". Here is the valve out of my 130 with the wood grips. See the round brass piece? That is the exhaust part of the valve. When you pump the air pushes that part against the hammer and the hammer pushes against the sear. Pull the trigger, the sear moves out of the way of the hammer and lets the exhaust valve open letting the compressed air out. Simple, but the more pumps, the heaver the trigger pull is.

Thanks. Now  I see why Crosman changed from the self-cocking>rear knob>bolt cocking. It's all about simplicity and cost of manufacture.

After putting the pro-top and disco valve in the 2600 the stock cap just wasn't working out so well. I could pierce the cart but it was heck getting it off. So I got one of HPA sports extended caps and made me a new piercing rod. I got to thinking about what to use for the spacer that keeps the rod centered in the tube then it hit me why not ise an old cart . Well it works  :-*

Well I have the 1325 up to a very leaky 576 fps at 25 pumps  and about 500 at 10 pumps.

Fps should go up by a good bit once I fix the leaking bolt getting a pretty strong blast but at least I found out I will dump 25 pumps...
1322XLT(2100/13XX hybyid)750 fps @ 16 pumps w/CPHP 14.3g

MK1322(2240/13XX/MK177 hybrid) 805 fps at @ 22 pumps w/14.3g CPHP

about 5 more 13xxs
Two Daisy 953(# 31x Jan. 1985) & (Sept 2004)
2100b (with old style piston)
.25 Mrod (50fpe tune)

Replaced all the cracked barrel supports on my M4-177. Word on the street is that they adjusted their plastic to avoid brittleness here, but I have my doubts.  The type of plastic on 760 and backpacker barrel bands seems much more flexible.

where the main screw tightens the barrel band is the worst engineered and weakest point probably. It's hard plastic that shouldn't be tightened.

Well its a PB stock not a AG... but it could be. ;)

Started like this..

Its stripped and going thru the sanding process. 80, 100, 150, 220, 320, 400, 600. Then water and steel wool... I am into the steel wool now.

Once its all sanded I will re cut the checkering and then refinish. I think with just Tung oil. I like the light color, nice tiger/fiddle back figure.
