I have been cloning a Crosman 180 from available parts.  I have a lot of stock work left, but I did get to shoot it.

I have a 180 also, what is that on the end of the barrel, and where may I get one ?
as is , it has  a little two much bark coming from mine.

Is that the type 3 trigger ?

What I have is a 2250 tube w/a 2260 trigger & 16" Crosman barrel w/a TKO & sight mounted on it.  Sights are Williams & breech is Bakers, rear cocking is a ssp hammer unit.  I had an old 2260 stock I cut down to appx. a 180 size to fit the 2250 configuration.
I think of it as a 180 clone.

  Been working on this for a week or so ! 2250 XL PCP  10 inch .22 cal barrel with costom work done on the valve,BSA Conterder red/green aim point. Shooting Crosman HPs avg. 543.7 fps

This week I made a 1377 pump arm pin removal and installation tool, and I started the build of a two-stage piston for that SSP 1377. Outer piston in brass, and inner piston in SS.
