Great work airmec.  :-* :-*

Here's a thought and suggestion, how about a few pieces of a flo-through bolt that works for left hand cocking breechs.

Carl

Will do ;)

Finally got my walnut grips for my 1377 and 2240!  Stuck em on the 1377 and then dremeled out a breech I had lying around to make a lefty plastic breech for it.  Drilled out my peep and epoxied a picture nail to the front sight which I painted white.  Made it way more accurate!  This was the 1377 I promised myself I was leaving stock! Hahahahaah yea right...
Full blown Crosmaniac.

Nice wood for that one for sure. ;)
We need to keep going and have fun doing it.

I thought so! Looked so good on ebay I  had to buy some for both my pistols! Now I wish someone would make the 1399 stocks in wood like Crosman used to...
Full blown Crosmaniac.

Very nice!    :-*     I remember those wood stocks on the Crosman Custom Shop.

Thanks! Just took my time with a dremel and cutoff wheel. Then switched to a tapered grinding stone for finishing.  Should have done it sooner!
Full blown Crosmaniac.

That's great looking wood on your gun.  Also love the breech.  You got my wheels turning.

Very nice wood parts, beejwest :-* :-* :-*. Guess you don't pinch your fingers at pumping with that cool forearm :) . Can't wait to have some on my 1377!

And nice conversion on the breech :-* . Have you tried #400 and #600 wet or dry sandpaper for removing scratches? Does a good job ;)

beejwest meant to ask you how stable or structurally strong does the plastic breech appear now that you have opened up the other side?  If I remember correctly 1377x converted one of his just like yours a couple of years back.

I still like it very much and am thinking again about modding one of mine.
