put my nv set up back on my .25 king rat and made a new bottle seal as it was leaking from the pin valve
could have saved some work as I then swapped the on off to an ag1 instead of the inline one
started doing some barrel length testing on my other .25 and found a drop of 80fps swapping from a 20 down to a 10
I decided to keep with a 12" one which leaves me an offcut that'll make a 7 1/2" one

barrel now cut down to 12 5/16"  90* barrel face crown as it'll be shrouded so no need to do a recessed type crown
pickle bush made as well

I had some 1.25" diameter aluminum tube handy, so I fashioned a new LDC for my carbine. Previous one was 1" diameter thin wall aluminum tubing. New one is thicker, with aluminum components on the ends. Beefy!

Bummer. Did some shooting out to 25m and the new duffer is throwing pellets 2" high. Sound level is about the same, so the old one went back on. Accuracy is back to normal.

Did you try turning it a bit at a time ? .. I had one that a quarter turn did a
world of difference ...

Mine barrel end is threaded, so it's only snug in one orientation. I could try it not fully threaded on and see if that helps, then use a washer to space it right. Thanks for the tip.

oh, didn't know that. Yes  the  washer might work. Skinny one for sure.
