Bought a 14" barrel ,cut and re-crowned to 12" and tuned to UK legal power  and enjoyed the accuracy

Getting ready for CO2 weather - replaced the standard straight trigger with a RAW set back trigger blade on my Challenger 1760.  It has a good, solid feel to it and I like the slight curve compared to the long straight Challenger blade.

Here's an old pic of my Challenger build to refresh memories.  It's a 1760 tube and internals with a Challenger 2009 stock and trigger group.  Also added the spacer between the tube and trigger group.

I ask because I just got a mrod trigger group and I think it might be a lot easier to buy one than to make one

Correct - that is the Challenger trigger guard.

Original finish.  Built this rifle in mid-2013, so it's almost 4 years old.

A new bolt in my 1377 pistol...the alchemy airwerks extended probe bolt. Initial impression One click less drop at 30yards which I guess is related to speed though whether that's better air flow or better seating. It does shoot hollow points better now which was a surprise. I have added this to the list of parts for my carbine  build

Very nice, Ed.  I have been thinking of that trigger since seeing it on GTA.  Since then I have added two other Mrod trigger groups to guns and decided I might better keep them all the same. (Can't afford 3 of them.)

Very nice, Ed.  I have been thinking of that trigger since seeing it on GTA.  Since then I have added two other Mrod trigger groups to guns and decided I might better keep them all the same. (Can't afford 3 of them.)

One thing I read on the GTA threads was the Challenger/M-Rod triggers are cast metal and tend to break.  So if you try one of the RAW triggers it does give you a spare    Installing the trigger was a snap too - only required drilling out the hole for the pin to 1/8.  And while I had it open I took the time to see how the stage and trigger pull adjustment screws work in concert.  I had never adjusted the factory pull so now it's really sweet.  Thinking about taking out the "lawyer" spring next and bringing trigger pull down to a few ounces like my FWB 300S.

One last thing I did was to place a small cardboard shim between the trigger guard and the trigger box.  No matter how hard I cranked down on the retaining screw the trigger guard still tended to pivot out of alignment with normal handling.  The shim locks it in place.

Not a lot, but I added a 1399 stock to my 1377, installed an adjustable trigger spring, and shot a bit.  Trying to decide what to do next; if I want to  keep my other 1377 stock and add a 2240 to mod, or add more goodies to the first 1377.  What a tough life

Swapped a TruGlo red dot that didn't have enough down elevation adjustment to zero it for a Weaver that works fine. Looks better to boot, to my eyes. Might put the tube red dot onto the AR for grins. The little 4x32 scope worked okay but made loading a bit too tight.

Trying to find the part numbers for everything needed to convert the 2400KT to a P-rod trigger/grip frame. If anyone has a link I'd appreciate it!
