Finished cleaning and touching up a Crosman S331 peep sight to go on the 160.

Before, with rust and flaky shellac-like coating:



After cleaning, rebluing steel parts, minimizing scratches in anodized parts with BC Aluminum Black, and addition of NOS aperture:

Just added a Muzzle Mack 32 hole muzzle brake to the 1377. Not sure if it does anything but it sure looks cool.

Thanks, guys, for the compliments on the peep restore.

After the peep was done, I resealed the 150 and the 160.  While the 160 was apart, I milled and tapped the receiver to accept the peep sight.

I tried a quick and dirty solution to the hollow plastic grip issue which also fixes the shifting problem.  I just filled the bottom of the grip with very hot glue from a hot glue gun, put it on the frame without tipping it, then tipped it upright all before the glue hardened.  The melted glue then flowed down so that it was touching both the grip and the frame.  No more hollow feel and no shift.  And when you want to remove the grip it just kind of peels off like hot glue does from metal.  When you want to put it back on, reheat the glue with the glue gun and repeat.

I liked the results so much I did it to 3 Crosmans with plastic grips.

when you use a flat top set up in a 1377 it kicks like a .22lr pistol.the mm muzzlebrake will add weight to the front of the gun reducing the kick some
my nephew who is 22 and not so little got a kick out my 1377 kicking.he shot it stock and liked it even more so after i flat topped it
