What work did you just do?

I've been working on some ivory colored grips. They are heavier, stronger and more solid (nowhere near as much hollowness in the recess) than the standard Crosman grips.  Nor do they have the deep fake woodgrain. Thanks to chongman for sending the grips that got sanded, filled and shaped for this project.  They are coming along quite nicely, I'd say. 

My keeper set will be one design aspect of the "Kung Fu Panda" I vowed to make in honor of the S.F. Giants winning the World Series. I'm thinking powder coated ivory color on a muzzle brake and a trigger shoe... possibly the PA as well.  We'll see.

Well, they're not painted and they're not powder coated.  And they are not direct copies. 

Let me put it this way, I'll be doing full dentures soon... and that is when the cash will roll in!  (got the ivory color... what colors to make gum pink?)

You guys HAVE to know I'm just kidding about dentures, right?     Then again, with the average age of this forum... 

On the grips, I've got some fine finishing to do, then a clear coat for two of the sets.

On another front, in just a few minutes, the Mellon aluminum PA will no longer be aluminum color.  What a pain to mask off, but worth it.  I'll post pics of the powder coated satin black Mellon PA in a bit.  The Black Widow needs it real bad, you know?

And finished.  The flash shows some fine pitting on the top only, but it's a keeper for the first dance and good enough for the Black Widow.
