I don't know about any amazing, but thanks for the kind words, chongman.  :)

I just did get through putting a tiny (.067") sight bead (about 1/2 the width of the Crosman and MIM boat paddles I've been stuck with) onto the top of a Crosman standard front sight to do two things I have been yearning for: Get a bit higher and get a lot smaller on the front sight.

Why, you ask?  I've said it before and I'll say it again.  I HATE the size of the standard front blade AND the huge "notch" in both the standard rear sight AND its little metal "mini me" the MIM sight.   I like them about as much as I like 5 MOA dots and such.  So, I got the $10 off-brand whatever it was from PA and got it adjusted as low as I could without shaving metal anywhere (although I did cut the front bolt down).  It was almost there.  That close. Now, let me tell you that well made but inexpensive iron sight has a smaller notch than the ones I LOATHE (see above).  I believe this will let me get that sight going.  PLUS, I have a Williams Diopter sight that I am pretty sure needs both a slightly higher front sight and will be nothing but improved with the .067" bead.

I'll find out within a few days and "report back to headquarters".

Here's a few pics of the bead on the sight in case anybody is interested.

and the last ones...

By the way, the bead is threaded and adjustable.  I have its base cranked down flush for now.

I'll smooth out the front section I cut before it ever gets a home on a gun.  That business was so it can get closer to a barrel band on a build.  No reason for that to be two inches long!

It must be! I'll take your word for it, cause I wouldn't know.  ;)

Round here, it's a decision between Cracker Barrel and IHOP.  IHOP wins today. :-* Bad thing is neither one of them have sorghum syrup.  Maple syrup is highly overrated IMRNO (in my red neck opinion).    :D

I'm working on polishing the tube and barrel for my 1377.

My AR2078B won't fire at times, and there isn't any release of CO2, and so, I'll be disassembling it to see if I can find the problem  While doing that, I'll be installing an HDD mod kit, and I'll lap the trigger and sear. RC

my custom 2300 is firing really weak imapct is loud but barely puts a dent in anything.gotta figure out the problem
i think its because im using a disco rear end and it covers up the bleed hole in the tube and its affecting the hammer/tube compression slowing down the hammer and acting as a cushion not releasing the co2 properly.when i go home tomorrow i'm going to add a relief spot to the bottom of the disco valve opening up the bleed hole.im going to chrony before and after results

I started polishing a Don Cothran Machine stainless steel end cap with some Mother's Mag and Aluminum paste (thanks for reminding me about it Brian!) I got to thinking....and that sometimes leads me astray.... what would really make my cap unique? Yep, serious brain sizzle was going on and I came up with something  ;)

The silver plated Eagle Globe and Anchor is from a US Marine Corps Pistol Sharpshooter badge. It took some doing to remove it from the cross (first attempt was a disaster, I had to sacrifice another badge). After an insane amount of time I got one off. After I get the cap to a "chrome" look I'll epoxy it on  :-*
