Gary,
Red would look OK on that gun. :)
Cheers,

This is my plain jane gun, it is quite a matte finish, looks shiny in the pic. I hand selected all the dull finish pieces that I could get for this one.

Anyways I only got blacking kits, Alu Black, Brass Black and Home Blue Kit  ;D

A splash of red would definitely be a great accent to your gun.

Tired of the all black on my 2400KT so I figured a little paint was in order. Was in the mid 50's today, not the best for painting outside, but what the hell. I thought the contrast with the camo tan would look OK. I'm working on replacing (as finances allow) all the blued end caps, bolt handle and muzzle brake with brass parts. Should look good when It's finished.

Looks right out of the BigErn 'playbook'. He is the resident spray paint master. --Looks excellent--

Here you go Mr Q  ;)

Nice doofer, Gary. Sure miss the pretty pink wallpaper with the hearts pattern as the background.

Good luck with blackening the brass. I have more luck using a marker.

Aw you've sewn the seed now, I want red accents  :D

I use Casey Super Blue, takes a few applications and it's smelly but not to bad.

Definitely shiny  :-* A little car wax may help. I always wipe down my polished 760 after use with a soft cloth and the light finger prints come right off.

I vote shinny.

I'm with Mike.  For that particular gun 'shiny' is thee way to go.

Shiny for sure YSYEO! Mine is polished too and I love it. I wipe it with 0000 steel wool after each use and it shines right up. I want to bedline the pump arm and stock on mine but don't want to take it apart again cuz it's a real pain to put it back together again!

Well, then, shiny it is!    After getting it back together, I decided to put a scope on it, since the rear sight was missing.   I then took it to the range for a quick test.

Here it is with the 41x Tasco on it.

And here are the results from the range.

YSYEO that is just awesome!!!

You do realize that this one post is going to cause a run on all places selling BBs and Crosman BB Guns.

You are definitely a trends setter this morning.  ;D
