No pics, but I just installed a cothran bolt, probe, and safety on my 1322 carbine with red-dot. Also added a quick detach pin for the shoulder stock. It seems these projects always run into snafus for me, took about 2 hours.    When one part doesn't cooperate, the gun doesn't go back together perfectly, something's misaligned, and you've got to trouble shoot all the interconnected parts. Drives one batty!

Set-up looks good, I'll have to post pics eventually.

This morning I put on a brass barrel band, 760 front sight, long probe bolt, and a brass bolt handle on my 1322

Another strip of the 2300T

Made shims from Pringles lid... Used hole punches and they were too rough, so used dremel to make hole then hand cut with scissors.  Worked much better.  Polished sear and trigger contact points, Pleased for now as feels less gritty.

Wondering should perhaps the hammer and tube be polished?

Found another thread on that shot counter, uses an LCD Electronic Digital 5 Digit Tally Counter and a micro switch. I ordered a couple tally counters from ebay $1.25 each delivered.

If it's small enough, maybe it gets recessed into the 1399 stock somewhere and the wires run inside too? How cool is that?
