Thanks for the heads up on Walmart, but I bought 35 cobs on ebay. I will tell my son about walmart when he runs out of cobs. Around these parts we think the tree rats are cute. I don't think he will shoot them. Although, he does have the 2289G bug out kit and it is right on the money with the Crosman HP pellets. This is his target at 5m.
We need to keep going and have fun doing it.

Thank you, thank you. This is going to my son's house 125 miles from me. I'll ask him to take pics of the feeder in action, IF, I can find the corn on the cobs. I called Pet Smart where I bought corn before and they do not carry it anymore. I called other pet stores and a feed and grain place, no cobs. I did find some on ebay. That is what I might have to do to get some cobs. Here is the pic of the squirrel in my sons back yard. And another pic of the finished feeder.

Corn on the cob is all over the place here and usually pretty cheap. Its fresh corn of coarse. PM me I can fill a flat rate postal box and send it off to you if you would like. PM me we can set it up.

Today I worked...hard!

Cut the grass (on the rider), trimmed, buzzed the hedges and swept the sidewalk out front. No metal work today but I have been thinking and drawing  8)
Long days and pleasant nights to you...

This is my 2240 so far.
It has an Anthony R. breech and magnetic bolt.
The handle is from Chongman.
An EBay power adjuster.
Red dot off my P17 and some 1377 grips.
A light trigger spring is on the inside and sear and trigger have been polished and lubed.

It really is quite the shooter now.
The next step will be a muzzle brake cause it is loud.
I found some old tropical hardwood 1" blanks in the garage and may try to fashion out a brake on my wood lathe.

I still prefer my pumpers but this is still a very fun gun.

He lives in Anaheim hills off the 91 freeway. Look at the picture and you are looking accross the Santa Anna river at Yorba Linda.

Thought it looked familiar, used to live in Brea

I've been going crazy with my new Dremel tool. I've polished the sears and hammers on my 1377 and 2240. I also trimmed some threads off the inside of the valve on my 2240. I wanted to angle the valve hole but I don't have the right drill bit for it.  :(
Black air pistols matter.

WyoMan

I use a dremel 7123 diamond wheel point attachment to relieve the valve port angle - its the perfect size and cuts the aluminum easy
Some folks drill it but thats hard to do by hand....

Coming along nicely.  Put some new grips on that and ready for beauty review!

I'm interested to see your wooden brake!  Please post pics when you got it all done.  Thanks for sharing.
