Thank ya Michael.  After a few more staining sessions it should be ready for the custom Chongman's stainless pump pins.  ;)

Thought they would look better with the black and silver of my 1377 than the brass. Plus I had Michael make them a Tad long so they would be proud of the wood. :-*

I was pleasantly surprised that the breech polished up so well. I need to work on the top some more to see if I can get. the mill marks out. Then it's dremel time for the tight spots. :-*

Very nice. Different grades of steel polishes easier I suppose.

To divert the topic briefly:  is that the mounting screw hole on the bolt side under the bolt of the loading area?  Or does the Crosman short breech fit a 1377/Pc77 without further modding? For the short breech is a shorter bolt necessary?   I was under the impression long or short the holes are the same location, and bolt same.  So, in short, I am confused :-[.

The short breech is only available with CCS breech screw location (farther from barrel).  It would require that a 13xx tube be made to accept it.
Silence is golden. Duct Tape is silver. Gravy is brown.

Thank you.  Makes sense now.

YSYEO

Some time back I made an adapter to mount a globe sight on the front of my 160.   Since then it has always listed a little to starboard.   Turns out the tapped hole in the barrel for the front sight was off center to the barrel.

Here is the mount when I first made and installed it.

I offset the counter-bore for the screw on the mill using a rotary table, so that the bottom of the counter-bore would follow the radius of the barrel.   The smaller hole I just took a file to.  While I was at it I painted it black.

Here it is installed and standing up straight, finally.

That turned out nice YSYEO  :-* nice machine work!

Thanks.  It was bugging me, and it was an excuse to use the rotary table, which probably hasn't been used in 10 years.
