Had a ss bumper bolt reconfigured to replace the ATI's plastic one..It snapped in two when I overtightened it.

Had the tipped lathed coz I don't like it to potrude.

Put o-rings on the threaded portion for a cleaner look..

This Crosman I have put this ATI cheek rest on is one of my most accurate guns, it has a 24" barrel w/c I bore-polished.

2 days ago I went out to 45 yards..I used 10g AA this time..It was even windy and yet my baby still grouped this well with and w/o a "muzzlebrake.

This is my friend's place btw, we used to hold competitions here but not anymore.

My Norica Massimo was a bit of a bear to cock, and the cycle was rough, and so, I took it apart and shortened the spring 1.5", heated and hammered down the cut end, polished it, and put the rifle back together.  Much better. :) RC

Thanks, and it's very accurate with a great, fully adjustable trigger. RC

Finished the 1377 rebuild last night when I finally got the Boss Buddy installed.  All of the parts are either Crosman or Davio's excellent work.  Tomorrow will be target day, weather and hunny do lists permitting.

I am playing with a QB79.  I just got a 9 oz. alum tank installed to it with no clearance problems.  I will be tearing into this guns to see what all kinds of mischief and mayhem can be done to the valve, the port, etc.

As disillusioned as I am about my QB57 side lever springer (just meh), I must say that this QB79 is a nice gun that seems fairly well made.  Fit and finish is surprisingly good and I think it has lots of potential to be a very fun gun.  We will see.

I hear you, bother.  The pot metal safety that has to be knocked off to clear the way for stock removal is just plain lazy engineering. I think the port material is petrified ear wax. The valve is half full of bits that should not be on a bulk fill gun. I thought it was baffled within the valve for a moment.  :D  The inside of the barrel makes me think that our Chinese friends are sending toxic sludge to other countries in not-so-small quantities. My Geiger counter is on the fritz or I could say for certain.  ;D

With a simple adjustment of the rod that connects the trigger blade to the mechanism, the trigger will lose the slop on the QB57.  RC

@ Davio - Did you have to do any difficult mods to instal the 9oz. tank on the QB? Reading some of Jason's detailed posts on GTA makes me scared to try it if I ever got one of those guns, just not sure if you guys are modding the same model gun.
