A while back I saw a video on youtube about crosman manufacturing in the USA.  That is what finalized my decision to go with crosman and what lead me to this forum.

Does anyone  know what models are currently be made in the US facility?

TiminNC over on the GTA site recently did a tour and wrote a story in a magazine about his tour.  http://www.crosman.com/croswords/?p=2944

The link should give you some idea and you could send him a PM with questions I guess.

Like so many US companies, Crosman got caught up in the outsource game. But, a few years back they decided to bring a lot of the work back in-house. The company worked with the town government on a deal to help employ and keep people employed as well as purchase new equipment to make them more competitive in the marketplace. I believe they are a relatively small company of about 250 total people, but have grown their reach globally. And like every other company, need to have some things made on the outside.

They are trying, I give them that much, but outsourcing can make sense sometimes for some parts or processes..

That about sums up this video......maybe the same one you saw??

im fine with the screws being made in china. cause i could then replace them with american made ones.
ive always had problems with crosmans screws. they seem to made with bad quality metal. sometimes i think they were made with half of lead!
