Where to find good barrels?

Mellon is out of barrels - does he make his own - are they better than standard crosman barrels. Any other places to find barrels of varying length.

Look at green mountain, crosman (comparable to LW), and Loather walther)
Crosman makes great barrels. I like them just as much as LW in performance.

Check the Crosman website for authorized repair facilities and call some of them. They may have barrels. Mac1 almost certainly would have some barrels, too.

i just bought a 24" 2260 barrel today i was going to buy the 26" barrel but the only one he had was the smooth bore.i thought they were all gone but the 26" .177 barrels have rifling
i might spring for the smooth bore if i can get a deal on it
dont have a use for a 26" .177 barrel
with green mountain you have to buy 50-100 barrels at once before you can get one

Mellon barrels are Crosman barrels. He gets them from Crosman and recrowns and cuts them to different lengths.

Crosman discontinued the 1760 .177 barrel but the Disco .177 barrel is available from Crosman.  Don't know if they are out on these though.

I bought a 2260 barrel last year, so I know they had them then LOL
