did a few things today to improve my 357,they are by no means major mods but just something that was always on my mind 357 which i got a few days ago was totally awesome solid in every way trigger better then most smithy 19 586 etc that is hot, looking over it i noticed they greased 357 number 1 with a yellow grease around and up into the trigger area. 357 number 2 i bought this morning and bought a BSA red dot for it.   number 2 shoots great but i noticed the barel bridge was loose  didnt really affect accuracy but it was on my mind. I noticed to gaps one close to the front sight , looks like the sight bridge is dovetailed in there it was sloppy and at the opposite side close to the breech area. looking a little closer it looked like the thing had been glued on. so i fixed the problem i went and got some aotomotive loctie and fillied in the gaps pressed and made it even now i have 2 357 that are alot more solid, ill fix the paint job tomorrow  not worried about cosmetics on these i just want good solid shooters

wow that is some wild stuff and awesome work i thought that sight bridge was just pushed in there now i see they had it glued in as well. I dont think im going to try any of those mods any time soon lol i can barely turn a screw driver, im ok with the triggers but would be nice if they were a tad bit lighter and smoother

it shouldn't be glued rather the site rail has hoops that as secure the barrel and both to the shroud. if you want to see how it is attached, slide the barrel out through the breech and then lift up on the site rail
