Nice set up! Always good when a plan and parts come together. Good job on the build and she looks pretty accurate.
i wasnt born with enough middle fingers. Marolyn manson.

Ordered my 7.5" TKO the other day. Excited to do some shooting without disturbing the neighbors.

Well after as much tuning as I've done I didn't feel I was getting the power I was expecting. I had the lightest spring I could get, that still held the valve closed installed. I installed a disco hammer spring but it wasn't opening my valve much at all with 1500 or more psi. I ordered the green(2000psi) and red(3000psi) from those guys at that one website. I noticed the green(2000psi) spring was quite a bit heavier then the disco spring. I don't know if the disco spring was incorrect or what. I installed the green one and man did it wake the gun up. I actually had to back off the power adjuster because I was seeing the wasted gas coming out the barrel. Can't wait to get some chrony numbers.

The "stock" Disco spring is a compromise rating because of the dual co2/HPA nature of the gun.

Looks like your spring experiments has paid off, now to conserve gas and gain shot count at the right (for you) fps or muzzle energy.  :-*

Looking forward to your new numbers :-*

Well I got ahold of a chrony today. It was starting to get late so I don't think the numbers were accurate. Was hitting in the 830's but seen an 890 in there. I brought the chrony home so I will get some good numbers this weekend in between the rain storms. Also, I made some more changes when I got home. I pulled the gun apart and didn't like how my bored out port was looking so I make a home made port. I also threw the 3000psi spring in there for the hammer. It takes a bit more to cock the gun but just the sound of it is exciting. I can't wait to get some numbers off it tomorrow. If I can keep it in the 800's+ with a 2k fill I'll be happy and leave it be.

Ok so I got some better test shots done this morning. With a PBA pellet in there at 2k psi it shot 1054 fps. However I don't shoot pba's I shoot CPHP's, so here are their numbers.

951
938
920
876
833
792
727
671

I'm going to pull the light spring and put the stock spring back in the valve to try to lvl off the first few shots. But so far I am super happy with it. And by the way, she is getting loud again even with the 7.5"tko. But still within neighborhood limits.

Ok, I think I am done modding this gun for power/consistency. I have it right where I want it for a nice light compact hunting gun. Here are my numbers with the stock(stiffer) valve spring put back in.

CPHP's 14.3

1 922
2 915
3 880
4 918
5 889
6 863
7 832
8 790
9 726
10 659
11 582

And for fun I did some with PBA pellets.

1 1085
2 1070
3 1045
4 1013
5 982
6 937
7 886
8 832
9 746
10 646

List of everything I have done to the gun:
BNA Max-flow boss valve, bored out to .169 at the port. I also had to take about .060 off the valve stem cause it came too long.
Pinned the valve on both sides.
Bored the port in the barrel to .169
GMCA extended prob bolt
7.5" TKO
Disco power adjuster(currently disabled due to the fact that the stop don't fit the spring. will have to make one)
3000 psi red spring from the one unmentionable website.
I have the extended air tube also from BNA to help with shot count.

Anything else I do to it will merely be cosmetic.
